TRAINING
Healthcare Training Systems provides interactive multimedia programs customized to meet the needs of all segments of the healthcare industry, i.e. venders, manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, corporate sales product support, community and technical colleges, hospitals, medical and surgical centers and specialized departments within those centers.
Training programs are also created for sales personnel to optimize knowledge of products and clients; preparation for certification testing; pre-employment screening through tests associated with program subject matter content; distant learning to minimize expenses associated with travel and on-site training.
The training segment of each unit consists of multimedia components (graphics, video, animation, sound, narration, and text). Most importantly, the use of interactivity in each module represents the true "value added" feature of Computer Based Training as opposed to conventional learning. Students are required to interact with the information in order to move to the next "chuck" of instruction. Examples of such interaction would include the use of interactive crossword puzzles to learn key terms; the use of "hot spots" on graphical images to test the student's understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to repeat information as many times as is needed in order to internalize content material.
